Do you ever
wonder what will happen to you when you die?
Everything in the Bible is written so that we may know how
much God loves us, and what we have to do to go to heaven
and live with Him for eternity.
1 John 5:13 (NIV) I write these things to you who believe in
the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you
have eternal life.
1. Recognize how
much God loves you!
(John 3:16 NIV) "For God so loved the world that he gave
his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life.
2. Recognize that we are all sinners!
(Isa 53:6 NIV) We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each
of us has turned to his own way ...
3. Know that Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins!
(Rom 4:25 NIV) He was delivered over to death for our sins
and was raised to life for our justification.
4. You must personally invite Jesus to be the Lord (Master)
of your life!
(Rom 10:13 NIV) for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the
Lord will be saved."
You can do this right now, in prayer (talking to God) - by
praying a prayer like the one below:
Pray this prayer right now
"Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son and that He died on
the cross and was raised from the dead. Because I have
sinned and need forgiveness, I ask Jesus to come into my
heart. I am willing to change the direction of my life by
acknowledging Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and by turning
away from my sins. Thank You for giving me forgiveness,
eternal life, and hope. In Jesus' Name, amen."
